What a visit leaves with us
Following a partner link can pass click details to a partner, and the click's IP address and browser details are erased after 90 days. Each visit to UK Slots leaves a server record that lasts 30 days. Grouped visit totals exclude IP addresses and are kept longer.

Technical request records
Each request leaves a technical record on our server. A requested address identifies the page being asked for. The record also contains the browser's identifying text and the time. That time shows when the request reached the server. It also includes the reader's IP address and the address of the page that led the reader here. The second address shows where the reader was before the request. An IP address is a number assigned to an internet connection. The browser text tells the server which browser software is being used. Together, these details show what was asked for and where the request came from. We keep each server record for 30 days. A campaign tag may be part of a page address during a campaign. When one is present, that tag is stored with the request. The company that delivers the pages may report an approximate country derived from the IP address. We record that country as well. The country is approximate rather than an exact location.
Partner-link click records
- Some pages include links to casinos that have a partner relationship with UK Slots.
- These partner links are affiliate links.
- Following one may earn UK Slots a reward.
- When a reader follows one, we record that the click happened.
- The click record contains the page where the link was followed, tying the click to that page.
- It also contains the reader's country, the browser's identifying text and the reader's IP address.
- We erase the IP address and the browser's identifying text after 90 days.
- The page and country remain in the click record after those two details are erased.
Click details sent onward
- A casino behind a partner link is an external website.
- A reader who follows it leaves UK Slots and enters that website.
- The casino's own rules and policies apply there.
- Following the link may pass click details to the partner.
- The details may be sent to a casino or its partner programme.
- They can include our domain name and the reader's country.
- They can also include the page address and the address of the website the reader came from.
- Information about the click can therefore leave UK Slots.
Hosting and delivery companies
UK Slots uses outside companies for hosting and delivery. Hosting provides the place from which the website is served. Delivery carries requests and pages between the website and a reader's browser. Each request passes through these companies. They process it on our behalf. This processing is part of making the requested page available. UK Slots relies on these companies for requests to reach the website and pages to be returned. It happens before the page reaches the reader. These companies provide technical services for the website, but they are not named. They act for us when they handle this traffic. A request may involve more than one outside company before it is completed. The request is handled for UK Slots rather than by UK Slots alone.
Grouped visit statistics
Some visit information is grouped rather than tied to one request. We keep these grouped statistics longer than the individual server records. IP addresses are not part of them. The statistics include the number of visits and the browsers used. Browser figures show the spread of browsers across visits. They also record the sources of visits. A source is where a visit came from. Popular pages are included as the pages with the most visits. Countries appear in these statistics when the company that delivers the pages reports them. A page becomes popular in these statistics through the number of visits it receives. These totals describe visits across the website rather than a single request. They can show which pages attract the most visits and which browsers are used. Because the figures are grouped, they do not connect those patterns to an IP address.
Cookie use by the website
No analytics or advertising cookie is placed by UK Slots itself. A cookie is a small piece of data that a website can store in a browser. An analytics cookie is used to measure visits. Advertising cookies are used to support advertising. UK Slots does not use its own cookies for either purpose. This applies to cookies set by the website itself. No browser storage of either kind is created by the website itself. A reader can therefore use UK Slots without the website itself adding those two kinds of cookies to the browser.
